Persimmons; Grandma's favourite fruit. Growing up, we had a persimmon tree and my grandma spent many afternoons netting the precious fruits to save them from pesky birds. I loved the bright orange and the smooth skin of the fruit. Seeing my grandma slurp down on the fruit was a common sight. With this print, it'll be persimmon season all year long!
 
About Riso -
This printing process is similar to screen printing. Colours are printed one at a time with a master and they can be layered to create new colours. Due to this, slight inconsistencies can arise. Part of loving riso, is loving the imperfections the printer makes.
